Todah Wine Creations
Our Story
A Passion For Local Winemaking

History
Todah Wine Creations was born out of a passion for wine and a respect for the vast potential of Niagara, Canada winemaking. Winery founder Dan Rabinovitch has spent the better part of the last two decades learning about winemaking from Australia to (new) Zealand. He decided to launch Todah as an expression of gratitude for finding his fulfilling career in wine.
Location
The Vineland wine region is nestled along the Niagara Escarpment in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula, near Lake Ontario. Positioned between Beamsville and Jordan, it lies within the heart of Ontario’s premier wine country, benefiting from its proximity to Toronto and the U.S. border.
Vineyards and Wines
Vineland’s terroir is defined by its limestone-rich soils, gentle slopes, and cool climate moderated by Lake Ontario. These conditions allow for slow, even ripening, ideal for growing aromatic whites like Riesling and structured reds like Cabernet Franc. The escarpment's elevation adds further complexity to the region’s elegant, expressive wines.
Winemaker
Marco Piccoli, an Italian-born winemaker, has significantly influenced Ontario's wine industry. With international experience from Italy, Germany, and Argentina, he became the Director of Winemaking and Operations at Arterra Wines Canada, overseeing brands like Jackson-Triggs. In 2024, he was appointed CEO of Niagara Custom Crush Studio where he continues to blend tradition with innovation.
