Founded in 2000 by businessman Lenny Recanati, Recanati Winery has swiftly become a prominent figure in Israel's wine industry. The winery emphasizes producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. In 2022, after six years of planning and construction, Recanati relocated to a new facility in the Ramat Dalton Industrial Park in the Upper Galilee. This move aimed to position the winery closer to its vineyards and strengthen its Israeli roots by contributing to the development of the Galilee region.

The winery is situated atop a cliff at an elevation of 850 meters in the Ramat Dalton Industrial Park, offering panoramic views of Kerem Ben Zimra, the Hula Valley, and Mount Hermon. This location provides a unique microclimate beneficial for viticulture.

Recanati sources grapes from high-altitude vineyards in Manara and the clay-rich soils of the Jezreel Valley. Their portfolio includes the Yasmin label for young blends, Recanati and Reserve varietals, and the flagship Special Reserve. The winery produces approximately 900,000 to 1 million bottles annually.

Recanati Winery was established in 2000 by Lenny Recanati and Uri Shaked. Their aim was to create a new winery which would produce original, quality Israeli wine. The winery’s philosophy is to produce local and original wines, wines that will best express the local terroir. The wine production process is led by chief winemaker Kobi Arviv, who began his career in the winery in 2006. Arviv, a talented and original winemaker, believes in matching Mediterranean varieties to the Israeli climate.

The winery has vineyards in the best growing areas in the country, and is very particular about growing unique Mediterranean varieties such as Petite Sirah, Marselan and Carignan and local varieties (Marawi), while simultaneously nurturing classic international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and others. The winery is proud of its unprecedented achievements in recent years, both locally and internationally.
